Omni Price - Core Module: Item Filter

Omni Price uses an Item Filter to control the Items for which contracts are valid.  A single Item Filter can be used by multiple Contracts.  The restrictions are specified in the same way that Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics GP report options have restrictions with the added benefit that you may use "Intra-range Selection" to exclude certain values from the restriction.

Below is an example screen:-

Omni Price - Item Filter

Features available include:-

Item Filters can have restrictions applied on the following fields: Item Number, Item Description, Short Description, Generic Description, Item Class, User Categories 1 to 6, Product Group & Subgroup (see below), Price Group, Price Level, Currency ID, Site ID, Unit of Measure Schedule, Unit of Measure and Created Date.

"Intra-range Selection" is available using the Details button for the following fields: Item Number, Item Class, User Categories 1 to 6, Product Group & Subgroup, Price Group, Price Level, Currency ID, Site ID, Unit of Measure Schedule and Unit of Measure.

You have the option of excluding Kit Items from an Item Filter.

There is an additional Item grouping facility.  Using the Omni Price's Product Groups & Subgroups you may group items together with a hierarchy, instead of using Item Classes or Price Groups.

Item Filters can be duplicated to create slightly different filters based on the current filter.

Item Filters can be Inclusive or Exclusive, ie. Specify what is valid or what is not valid.

Comprehensive Item Filter Enquiry window allows simple checks of which items fall into a specified filter and which filters contain a specified item.

Powerful reports from both Item Filter Maintenance and Item Filter Enquiry windows allow all details viewed on screen to be printed.
